A new spooky production is coming to a Dunfermline theatre just in time for Halloween.

Do You Believe in Ghosts is a new production for 2023, and will be staged at the Alhambra Theatre on Friday, October 27, at 7.30pm.

The show has been touring nationwide throughout the year.

The performance features actor turned paranormal investigator Adam, as he leads an investigation into theatre's dark history and the legends of theatre ghosts.

James Lee Taylor, the show's creator, said: "Are you feeling brave? If you are, join us, and we tell you all the secrets of what goes on when the theatre goes dark. When the only thing to guide you is the Ghost Light."

The Ghost Light is a theatre tradition where a theatre stage is lit up by one single light, even if a performance is not taking place.

The single light is supposed to give ghosts the chance to perform when the theatre is shut and in doing so, it keeps mischievous ghosts away.

James added: "We like to think of it as lighting the way for the ghosts who call the theatre their home."

The production will be full of ghostly stories of things that go bump in the night, as well as the day, and things that just do not add up.

James said: “We will raise the hairs on your arms and send chills down the back of your neck. . . Join us for a dark night. We dare you!”

Theatre goers should be aged 18 and over for this production.
