A Dunfermline man damaged doors after an argument with his mother.
Aaran Dudman, 34, of McClelland Crescent, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He admitted that on May 1 at a property in Inverkeithing, he punched a door, struck another door with his head and punched a glass panel causing damage to them.
Depute fiscal Brogan Moffat said Dudman was “highly intoxicated” and was asked to leave the house by his mother. He took offence to this and punched the kitchen door putting a hole in it. He then headbutted the living room door, smashing a glass panel.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said: “He and his mother have had a difficulty relationship in the past. All parties had been drinking and he accepts he shouldn’t have behaved in the way he did.”
Sheriff Wylie Robertson imposed a community payback order with two years of supervision and 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation for the damage caused.
