Tombstones and Tales at Dunfermline Abbey have been busy over the summer and are now preparing to reveal some exciting plans for 2024.
There's a chance to hear what they have been up to at their Autumn meeting on Wednesday, November 29, at 7.30pm at Dunfermline Abbey Church Hall, when there will be a presentation about their two very successful summer graveyard tours and some tantalising glimpses of the group’s plans for next year.
Sue Mowat will also give an illustrated talk about 'The Year of Cholera in Dunfermline - 1832'.
Sue has been busy in the archives, uncovering fascinating details about this remarkable period, to transport her audience back almost 200 years in time to hear how local lives were changed forever.
The evening is free but places must be booked on Eventbrite. Tea and coffee will be served. All welcome.
