DUNFERMLINE City will sparkle this Sunday as it gears up for the festive season with the Christmas lights switch-on event.

With an Artisan Craft Market, the Kingdom FM roadshow, the annual Santa Dash and a Christmas Parade before the main event itself, there is something for everyone this Sunday, November 19.

Cllr James Calder, Convenor of the City of Dunfermline Area Committee, said: "2023 has been a fantastic year for Dunfermline, let’s end it on a high and make this Christmas one to remember.

“Join us and Santa on Sunday, November 19, as we light up our City Centre with some Christmas cheer.”

Then, from 1pm until 5.30 pm at the Glen Gates crowds will be treated to performances from the likes of Cammy Barnes, Gavin Patrick, Dionne Hickey and Billy Reekie at the Kingdom FM roadshow.

Then at 4.30pm, the Christmas Parade will begin, making its way from M&S to the Glen Gates, just in time for Provost Jim Leishman to turn on the lights at 5pm.
