A CHANCE to pick up the perfect Christmas gift at Culross Townhouse is on offer after the National Trust for Scotland announced winter opening times.

The Townhouse shop is open Fridays to Mondays until December 11 with Bessie's Cafe open Thursdays until Mondays. The Palace and Gardens will remain closed.

The National Trust for Scotland Scotland is encouraging visitors to take a wander through the picturesque streets of Culross before discovering a variety of gifts to suit all tastes from a host of Scottish suppliers that will help to support conservation this Christmas.

The charity, which protects and shares Scotland’s nature, beauty and heritage for everyone thanks to the help of its members and supporters, has welcomed over 3.4 million visitors to its properties this year – an increase of 25 per cent compared to 2022.

Stuart Maxwell, National Trust for Scotland’s Regional Director for the Edinburgh and East region, said: “We’re excited to welcome visitors to our special places in Fife this winter season, where they can share this magical time of year with their loved ones and create treasured memories to last a lifetime.
