TWO West Fife teenagers will take to the stage with West End stars in February for the 10th anniversary of Movies to Musicals.

Aaron MacGregor, 14, and Noah Brotherton, 13, will be joining the cast for the celebration at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo.

The boys will join the likes of Les Misérables’ John Owen-Jones, Scots singer Sabrina Carter, Kerry Ellis, Lucy Kay, Paul Tabone, Glasgow’s Rock Choir and a score of talented young performers as they showcase some of stage and screen's most beloved soundtracks.

Aaron, from Crossgates, started performing in Movies to Musicals in 2018 and despite his packed schedule, he has decided to return to help celebrate 10 years of the popular show.

His mum, Ashley, said: "He now has an agent and he's done quite a few things. He's toured the UK with Cameron Mackintosh's Les Mis, where he played Gavroche."

But as well as musical theatre work, Aaron has also taken on a great deal of film and television work.

He voiced the Scotty dog in Super PupZ, has had an appearance in the hit show, Outlander and most recently starred alongside Peaky Blinders and Oppenheimer actor, Cillian Murphy, in Kensuke's Kingdom.

Ashley added: "He loves doing Movies, it's fun for him. He's been doing a lot of work so for him Movies is like really good fun, he has really good friends and he's been there since he was eight."

Noah, who has joined Limelight Youth Academy in Dunfermline, told the Press: "I'm amazed that I get to see West End people and join them."

With a range of accomplishments and roles under his belt already, he is looking forward to his second performance with Movies to Musicals next year.

His mum, Gayle added: "He got the special commendation at the Dunfermline Press Community Champion awards and since then he's done Les Mis at the Fringe, he was in the last Movies to Musical show, he's joined Limelight since then and he's doing Les Mis and School of Rock with them."

And to top it all the Cowdenbeath kid has bagged himself an agent and a record deal for his first single, which is set to be released in January.

For the anniversary edition of Movies to Musicals, Aaron, Noah and the rest of the cast will perform hits from musicals such as Bugsy Malone, Mary Poppins, Miss Saigon, Six and of course Les Miserables.
