AN iconic Dunfermline venue has announced its "biggest gig to date" this morning.
Paul Weller, the singer-songwriter who rose to fame with The Jam, will take to the stage of the Alhambra Theatre next year as he tours the UK.

In conjunction with Regular Music, the That's Entertainment singer will perform in the city on April 15, 2024.
A spokesperson for the Dunfermline theatre commented: "We are absolutely delighted to welcome Paul Weller to the Alhambra in April 2024.
"A massive coup for both the Alhambra and Fife. A true icon, who ranks up there with acts such as Kasabian, Snow Patrol and Paolo Nutini as one of the biggest-ever artists we have had at the venue.
"Watch this space for further exciting announcements in the next couple of weeks."
Tickets are priced at £49.50 and go on general sale on Friday, December 1. The show is over 14's only and those aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
