A 26-year-old woman, already disqualified from driving, was caught back behind the wheel when three times over the limit.
Brogan Watson appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on July 1 on the A985 at Crombie she drove when disqualified. She also drove having consumed excess alcohol. Her reading was 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 22 microgrammes. She also admitted driving without insurance.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf previously told the court that when Watson was stopped by police at around 4pm she was smelling of alcohol. She told officers she had a drink at around 10am that morning.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said his client is employed as a carer and has mental health issues.
She is already on a community payback order with unpaid work imposed earlier this year.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland banned Watson from driving for three years, fined her £440 and imposed a two-month restriction of liberty order.
