POLICE say a man who had been reported missing from Dunfermline has been found "safe and well".
An appeal had been made for help to trace Kenneth McLachlan, 59, after he had been reported missing earlier this week.
A statement from Police Scotland Fife said he has now been found.
It stated: "We can confirm that Kenneth McLachlan, 59, who was reported missing from Dunfermline has been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeals."
