British Transport Police have just released images of a male and female who they say may be able to assist with inquiries into an allegation of assault on a Fife to Edinburgh train.
The alleged assault happened at around 7pm on Saturday, September 9.
The male is described as white, Scottish, aged around early forties, average build, bald head wearing a black and grey top.
The female is described as white, aged around early forties small build, dark coloured hair wearing a black and white top.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “We are keen to speak to both the male and female and we believe they have information that could assist with our enquiries. I would encourage them, or anyone who knows them, to contact BTP.”
