Loch Leven Brewery has secured Gold and Bronze medals from the Society of Independent Brewers for two of its leading beers.
King Slayer and Outlaw King received recognition at the SIBA Independent Beer Awards 2023 – the UK’s leading beer competition judged by brewers, beer sommeliers and expert tasters.
In addition, King Slayer was awarded the Best in Category for Scotland at the SIBA awards.
Thomas Moffat, director of the Kinross-based brewery, said: “This is a fantastic reward for all the hard work that we have done to redevelop our recipes and bring our customers the best beer we possibly can.
"With the whole industry feeling the economic pressures of our current time this has been a welcome lift to all the brewery staff and hopefully a source of pride to our devoted followers.
"To have Kinross and Loch Leven now firmly established on the national craft beer map is a huge boost for the area and will also have positive ramifications for tourism and visitor experiences.”
