THE volunteers at EATS Rosyth have been recognised for their tireless work in the community. 

The charity was recognised by Keep Scotland Beautiful at their 2023 Beautiful Scotland and It's Your Neighbourhood annual seminar and celebration. 

Douglas Chapman, MP for the Dunfermline and West Fife constituency, congratulated the team of volunteers. 

In a letter, he said: "You must be very proud to have been acknowledged by this environmental charity for all the work you do to improve places and people's health and wellbeing.

"The community garden, Centenary Orchard and community hub are a vital part of our area. I am so pleased that these projects are going from strength to strength. 

"Looking after our neighbourhoods, restoring nature and tackling food waste is so important in the strive to reduce the impact of climate change."
