"We will continue to work with the authorities and support their investigations.

"The club re-iterates the condemnation of the scenes post match on Tuesday January 2 and any individuals identified by further investigations will also be subject to stadium banning orders."

There was widespread revulsion after a video circulating on social media showed a mob punching and kicking a man on the ground.

The attack took place outside the stadium, around 5.30pm, and the following day the Pars slammed the "horrible act" and said any fan involved would be banned.

Raith invited Mr Ross to meet the players and receive a signed shirt while Athletic sponsor, SRJ Windows, offered to buy him a season ticket for Stark's Park for the 2024-25 campaign.

The stadium bans will take immediate effect.

Dunfermline are at home to Airdrie tomorrow (Saturday).
