FIREFIGHTERS were called to a kitchen fire in Dunfermline on Saturday afternoon.
Crews raced to Gilfillan Road in the Touch area just after 5.30pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.33pm on Saturday, 27 January, to reports of a dwelling fire affecting the kitchen area at Gilfillan Road, Dunfermline.

“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the scene. The fire was extinguished prior to our arrival.
“No casualties were reported, and the crew left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
