Carmen will be performed at the Alhambra Theatre on Thursday, March 14 at 7.30pm. This opera tells the story of the downfall of Don José, a soldier who falls in love with Carmen, a free-spirited femme fatale.

Alexej Ignatow, producer of Amande Concerts Ltd, said: “We are really excited to be bringing back this opera company in these difficult times.

"The journey remains extremely challenging for the artists emotionally and physically. But with lots of dedication and love to our work, we have overcome the many extraordinary obstacles.

“The cast has been rehearsing vigorously over the last five weeks, and will continue to do so until the very moment when they will be leaving for the UK.

"We in the production office are now fully focussed on marketing these operas and raising awareness. We hope to see you very soon at one of our venues!”
