DRUGS with a street value of around £1,200 were uncovered after a car was stopped in Dunfermline.

Two people were arrested after the police stop on Broomhead Drive shortly after 7.30pm on Tuesday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers had cause to stop a vehicle on Broomhead Drive, Dunfermline, around 7.40pm on Tuesday, 5 March, 2024.

“A quantity of cannabis with an estimated street value of around £1,200 was recovered from the vehicle.

“A man and a woman, both 20, were arrested and charged in connection. They will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
