A 69-year-old Dunfermline man, who admitted having indecent images of children and showing them to others, has been sentenced.
Ian Dunbar, of Viewfield Terrace, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between July 6, 2022 and February 22, last year, he was in possession of indecent images of children.
He also admitted that between February 19 and 21 last year, he distributed or showed indecent photos of children.
Sheriff William Gilchrist imposed a community payback order with three years of supervision and a four-month restriction of liberty order.
Dunbar was also put on the sex offenders register for five years.
