FIFERS have been left in the dark as 77 roads were left with streetlights that weren't working.
Councillors were told that some of the faults were reported a year ago and still haven't been fixed.
At the council meeting on Thursday, Cllr Sean Dillon asked: "Could the administration update councillors on what progress is being made to resolve this matter and will they commit to putting pressure on Scottish Power to see these repairs resolved as soon as possible?"

The details came from a freedom of information request by the Lib Dems and the council's transport spokesperson, Cllr Altany Craik, confirmed: "The faults highlighted relate to Scottish Power apparatus.
"Roads and transportation services have been liaising with Scottish Power over the last six-to-nine months to emphasise the need for improved performance.
"Following that Scottish Power appointed a new sub-contractor in November and the level of outstanding faults have been starting to reduce.
"As of mid-March, while still high, the number of faults has reduced to 48.
"Those faults relate to single or multiple column networks and roads and transportation will continue to liaise with the company to push for improved performance."
