A High Valleyfield man, who vandalised a house by smashing a bedroom window, has been ordered to pay for the damage.
Michael Stocks had become angry after being refused entry to a neighbouring property.
Stocks, 42, of Pentland Terrace, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on December 2, 2022 at Preston Crescent, High Valleyfield, he smashed the outer pane of double-glazed bedroom window.
Depute fiscal Laura McManus previously told the court that Stocks’ cousin and her partner were at a house when Stocks turned up. He was asking whether someone was there and he was told they were not.
Stocks did not believe this and became “irate” after being told to go away. He then walked to outside a neighbouring property and smashed a window there causing £250-worth of damage.
Stocks was previously sentence to a restriction of liberty order lasting 11 weeks.
When Stocks returned to court having breached the order, Sheriff Wylie Robertson ordered him to pay £500 compensation.
