A NEW playpark will be officially opened at Lochore Meadows this week.
Local schoolchildren will have the chance to play on the accessible, destination facility at the unveiling on Thursday afternoon.
Councillors, partner organisations and the Friends of Lochore Meadows will also be in attendance.
As reported previously by the Times, the new facility features accessible paths that take children through distinct zones – toddler, junior, dynamic, and sensory.

There will be hammocks, rope play, and trampolines dispersed throughout.
Also included are dynamic swings, spinners and an inclusive wheelchair roundabout and swing as well as a racing double cableway.
Ramps, tube slides, inclined nets with rollers, are also included to ensure "many opportunities" for exciting play, both at low level and at height.
