PUPILS at Canmore Primary have had their thirst for reading quenched with a donation of new books from a Dunfermline for-profit.

Christopher Pinkman from Better World Books, based in the city's Castle Industrial Centre, donated an entire palette of books to the Evershed Drive school in honour of World Book Day.

Dunfermline Press: The books were kindly donated to the school.

Randa Watt, a teacher at the school, told the Press: "It was incredibly exciting to work with Christopher who helped provide us with a sustainable solution for our young readers.

"Our class libraries have been replenished and rejuvenated their thirst for reading and everyone wants to thank Better World Books for making this possible.

"Our school was delighted to receive such a generous donation that will ensure children have access to a wide catalogue for years to come!"
