FREE bus travel will be on offer this Easter weekend as part of an initiative to encourage people to use public transport in Dunfermline.
Members of the public will be able to jump on board buses in the city centre on Saturday and Sunday after the City of Dunfermline area committee allocated £18,000 on the public transport scheme.
It is hoped the idea will encourage people to travel in the city using sustainable public transport, support households that don’t have a car and help reduce carbon emissions.
