A 31-year-old Dunfermline man shouted obscenities at his estranged wife and threatened to burn down the matrimonial home.
As a result, Dorin Ciorescu, of John Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court, accompanied by a translator.
He admitted that on July 21, he sent a message to his ex-partner in which he threatened to burn down the matrimonial home.
Then on July 26 at an address in Abbey Park Place, he repeatedly banged on the door, refused to leave and shouted obscenities at his ex-partner.
The court heard there were civil proceedings taking place between the couple in Moldova.
Sheriff Susan Duff admonished Ciorescu but imposed a two-year non-harassment order.
