A DUNFERMLINE music venue is set to host iconic alternative rock band, The Vaselines.
PJ Molloys will welcome the band, famous for being declared Kurt Cobain of Nirvana's "favourite songwriters in the world", to the city on Thursday, July 25.
Formed in Scotland in 1986, The Vaselines split up before their debut album was even released but their musical talent was exposed to a wider audience when Nirvana recorded their own cover versions of The Vaselines classics ‘Molly’s Lips’, ‘Jesus Doesn’t Want Me For A Sunbeam’ and ‘Son Of A Gun’.
The Vaselines reformed in 2008 and have since recorded two new albums and have continued to tour.
Their Dunfermline show will start in PJ's at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased through the TicketWeb website.
