A Yoga instructor is celebrating her successful open day at her new wellbeing centre.

As previously reported in the Press, Susan David opened the doors of her new premises to the public last Saturday (March 30). The new centre has a main studio and a smaller studio and two therapy rooms, which will be made available for other teachers to hire.

Speaking of the open day, Susan said: “It was great, it was really good. It was really far better than I expected it was going to be.

“It went non-stop from when I opened… it was just constant.”

At one point, more than 80 people were at the event. Susan said that a lot of people who had never attended her classes before read about the open day on their phones and came along.

“It was really, really busy. I never got a chance to speak to anybody for more than two minutes,” she added.

Susan has been teaching yoga for six years, and now does 19 classes a week.

Now her centre, Breathe Yoga & Wellness, will be offering a chair mobility and flexibility class with teacher Tom. These classes will be starting up in a couple of weeks, and are good for people with mobility issues, and for helping with balance and strengthening the muscles.

“You can do lots in a chair,” Susan said.

The new premises for Breathe Yoga & Wellness are situated on Dunfermline’s Nethertown Broad Street.
