STAND-up comedian Lucy Beaumont is to stop off in Dunfermline later this year as she performs three Scottish dates on her latest tour.

Live at the Apollo and Taskmaster star Lucy has extended her 'The Trouble and Strife! tour" and will take to the Carnegie Hall stage on November 28.

An award winning stand-up comedian before she met her husband Jon Richardson, she is best known for starring in and writing the fictional sitcom of their marriage, Meet the Richardsons.

Her performance was BAFTA nominated for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme.

In The Trouble & Strife! Lucy promises to let loose and let slip on her roller coaster world with life through the Beaumont lens being more surreal than you could ever imagine.

Lucy is the writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s To Hull and Back, with Maureen Lipman, and was nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out, for which she was described by Chortle as “irresistibly endearing”.

Prior to this, she was the winner of The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer.

Lucy has also appeared on numerous entertainment shows including The Great Celebrity Bake Off, Would I Lie to You and Cats Does Countdown.

She is a proud daughter of Hull, and fiercely protective of her hometown. Lucy was team captain for the University of Hull team an the University Challenge Christmas Special 2019 (BBC2) Lucy has performed in various theatre premieres, touring the UK with Hull Truck, York Theatre Royal and West Yorkshire Playhouse.

She also has a number of radio credits including being a panellist on The Unbelievable Truth, Dilemma; The Magical Faraway Tree, an Enid Blyton adaptation directed by Johnny Vegas, History Retweeted and Crush, a 90-minute monologue for which she received a Sony Radio Award.
