A Dalgety Bay teenager rounded off his night out by jumping up and down on his mum’s car in the early hours of the morning.

As a result, 19-year-old Lloyd Clarkson, of Forth Court, Dalgety Bay, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on October 22, 2022, at Forth Court and Regents Way, Dalgety Bay, he shouted, swore, made offensive remarks, made threats of violence, jumped on, kicked and struck vehicles causing damage to them, made homophobic remarks, struck his head against a vehicle and spat.

Depute fiscal Amy Robertson said Clarkson had been out socialising with friends before the offence.

He later went to his mother’s home where he caused a disturbance, shouting, swearing and creating a raucous.

His mum had called the police and then looked out her window to see Clarkson was jumping up and down on her car.

A neighbour also saw the incident, by this stage Clarkson was stamping on the windscreen and trying to break it.

He then walked off, kicking at another car, which did not belong to any family members.

The police found him at 1.25am and he became abusive to officers, calling them various abusive names.

He also spat and so a spit-hood was put on him.

Defence solicitor Shona Westwood said: “He was heavily intoxicated at the time and has no recollection. He’s very embarrassed and very ashamed.”

She said her client was now working as bricklayer and staying out of further trouble.

Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed a fine of £740.
