FIREFIGHTERS are on the scene after a flat in Dunfermline city centre went up in flames.
The early morning blaze broke out at a property in Cross Wynd, just off Queen Anne Street.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told the Press: "We're currently in attendance at a flat fire in Cross Wynd in Dunfermline.
"We got the call at 5.57am and we have three pumps appliances and a height appliance in attendance.
"The fire has been extinguished and there are no reports of any casualties."
