Visitors to this year’s Bruce 750 Festival can discover why those with the sharpest implements were one of the most common medical practitioners of medieval times.

They were originally based in monasteries but moved into towns and expanded their skills to include bloodletting and amputation.
Will is going to discuss how common diseases were diagnosed and treated in his time and show you how his tools of the trade were used.
