THE RAIN has yet to pass for Fife as the Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning for thunderstorms.

Heavy rain and thunder is to be expected across the Kingdom tomorrow (Wednesday, May 28) between 10am to 7pm.

It's the third yellow warning in four days for the region and could lead to road closures, power cuts, difficult driving conditions and disruption to bus and train services.

The Met Office warned: "Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected once again on Wednesday, with some travel disruption and flooding possible."

The public can expect spray and sudden flooding which could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.

Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.

Power cuts could also occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.

There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds and fast-flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life
