THERE will be a temporary road closure in Dunfermline for four days next month.
A section of Garvock Hill will be shut to traffic between 8pm and 6am from August 12-15 to allow for telecom installation works to take place safely.
Fife Council said a lengthy diversion will be in place via Garvock Bank, Woodmill Road, Woodmill Street, St Margaret's Drive, Appin Crescent and Garvock Hill.
However this alternative route would take motorists to the Bothwell Gardens roundabout, where major roadworks will still be underway.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians while access for emergency service vehicles and residents will be available via a diversion route.
Centurion TM are responsible for these works and can be contacted on 0113 277 5360.
