Inverkeithing Children’s Gala are celebrating a successful event on Saturday - and the possibility that it will return next year!
This year’s big day out saw kids and adults enjoy fairground rides and a parade through the town.
There was also a fancy dress competition where one lucky winner got their hands on a £50 prize!
Aisling Adamson, a member of the gala committee, commented: “I think it went really well on Saturday and everybody seemed to enjoy it.
"The weather was on our side too which was great.”

Now the committee are already looking forward to next year’s event, as Aisling said: “You basically just start again as soon as one is finished.”
As previously reported in the Press, the committee had announced that this year’s event would be its last.
This was down to a range of factors but a lack of support for fundraisers meant it was difficult to run the gala.
The gala costs between £14,000 and £15,000 to hold, and all Inverkeithing children get free wristbands for it.
But now, Aisling says there are plans to try and bring Inverkeithing Gala back for next summer.
She said: “We have had a few say they want to join the committee - fingers crossed there’s going to be another one next year!”
