TWO streets in Rosyth will be closed for five days.

Fife Council said Sherbrooke Road and Linton Place will be shut for resurfacing works.

It's something that Rosyth councillor Brian Goodall said was "desperately needed" with £100,000 allocated to tackle the potholes in November last year.

He had previously described the surface of Sherbrooke Road as "the worst I've ever seen".

The closure will be in place from 7.30am to 5pm every day, from Monday 19th August to Friday 23rd August, and will allow the job to be "carried out in safety".

Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained.
