STUDENTS from a Dunfermline dance school are celebrating a great opportunity and success for one of their cohort.
The dancers from the Allana Brown School of Dancing were invited to perform for the Lord Lyon King of Arms and were honoured guests at the unveiling of the City of Dunfermline new coat of arms.
While this was taking place, one student was off competing at the World Highland Dance Championships at Cowal Games in Dunoon.

Connie Urquhart, aged 15, was crowned 5th in the world over all dancers under 16 years old.
Connie trains with Allana twice a week in Dunfermline High School Dance Studio and practices endlessly at home. She enjoyed her memorable experience, which will stay with her forever.
Allana has said how proud she was of Connie’s hard work and dedication to reach this amazing achievement.
