A ROSYTH man has been jailed for causing a disturbance involving his dad.
Mark Berturelli, 36, of Esmonde Court, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on 12th December at Esmonde Court, he acted aggressively towards his father, repeatedly shouted, swore, made derogatory remarks and threats of violence towards him.
The court was told Berturelli called his dad a “mongol” and threatened to throw him down the stairs.
Police were called and when officers arrived he was throwing items about.
Berturelli had been put on a community payback order with unpaid work but breached it.
Defence solicitor Russel McPhate said: “It was incredibly stupid not to complete the hours.”
Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane revoked the order and imposed a two-month jail sentence.
