A 42-year-old man who sent abusive messages to his former partner has been ordered to do unpaid work.
Mark Tierney, of Moidart Drive, Glenrothes, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between 30th December and 3rd January at Dunnock Road, Dunfermline, he sent text messages and e-mails to his former partner in which he swore and called her derogatory names.
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 90 hours of unpaid work.
