A WEST FIFE primary school and nursery has failed their last Food Hygiene Inspection.
Camdean Primary School Nursery on Kings Road, Rosyth has failed to meet food hygiene requirements, according to food safety records.
While in England businesses are graded on a scale of one to five, in Scotland they are only given a pass or a fail grade, listed as 'Improvement Required' - and in this case Camdean Primary did not meet the Scottish requirements and subsequently failed the inspection.
They are now required to make improvements to pass the next inspection under the Food Hygiene Information Scheme (FHIS).
Fife Council confirmed that it has still to make changes at the school, but plans to do so in future in order to "bring those facilities up to current standards".
The inspection took place on January 17, 2024 and the rating has not been updated since.
Clark Graham, Quality Improvement Officer, said: "The food hygiene inspections carried out recently highlighted that we needed to install more sinks to bring those facilities up to current standards.
"We have plans in place to make those improvements."
