A 65-year-old driver lost control of his car which left the road, damaging a house.
James Hisbent, of Newton Crescent, Rosyth, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on May 28, at Craigleith Avenue, Inverkeithing, he drove a car carelessly, causing it to leave the road and collide with the exterior wall of a dwelling house, causing structural damage to it and rupturing external gas pipes.
During the incident residents had to leave their homes while energy companies checked power supplies and connections to make sure it was safe.
Sheriff Mark O’Hanlon called for reports and Hisbent will be sentenced on October 16.
