A 55-year-old made threats to kill police officers and their families after being arrested.
George Bowe, of Forth View, Kincardine, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on May 6 during a journey to Dunfermline police station, he repeatedly shouted, swore and made threats of violence towards police officers and their families and refused to desist.
Depute fiscal Brogan Moffat said Bowe had threatened to stab a police officer.
He ranted: “You’re for it, you specky baldy p****. You’re dead. I’ll be following you home after your shift and I’ll stab you.
“I’ve already stabbed two sergeants. Stab, stab, stab.”
At the police station he continued to make threats saying: “I’m going to kill all your family.”
He also threatened to spit at officers.
Defence solicitor Amy Harley said: “He’s had a strained relationship with the police and the comments made are very alarming. He’s very apologetic.”
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 180 hours of unpaid work.
