A DUNFERMLINE man with a “terrible” record of domestic offences pulled a TV off the wall and held a knife during his latest disturbance.
Michael Collins, 39, of Gilfillan Road, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on 25th August at his home he pulled a television from a wall and threw it on the ground, damaging it, shouted at his then partner, picked up a knife and struck a table with it.
Depute fiscal Christine Allan said that there had been an argument at around 1.50am and he had then hauled the TV off the wall and hit the table with the knife.

The court heard Collins has three previous convictions for domestic offences.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said his client’s offending has been related to alcohol consumption.
He had stopped for three years before drinking again on the day of this latest offence.
Sheriff Krista Johnston described Collins’ record of offending as “terrible”.
She imposed a community payback order with two years of supervision and participation in the Caledonian Programme for domestic offenders.
Collins was also put on a two-month restriction of liberty order.
