BETSY'S Cakes has become a sweet deal for a Dunfermline mum, dad and the kids - and as tasty as their bakes are they won't eat any of them!
A feeling that they could do better prompted Lauren and Richard Nicholson, from Woodmill Crescent, to start up their own business from the family kitchen during lockdown.
Jason, 10, and five-year-old Rose offer their 'services' too, there's always a bowl needing licked, and the icing on the cake is that it's doing phenomenally well.
But Lauren admitted to the Press: "No-one in the house really likes eating cake any more! We've eaten so many!
"When we first started we had cake all the time.
"There'd be scraps and leftovers, we were always on the hunt for new recipes so we'd make more than anticipated."

The working mum said that it was a feeling of disappointment that actually led to their new venture in 2020.
She explained: "We got a cake for Rose's first birthday and just didn't think it was as good as it could have been.
"We decided to just start baking for ourselves and we were then advised to sell them.
"We didn't think too much of it at the time but it's massively taken off and we've never stopped since."
In the beginning they'd make an average of three or four cakes a week, last weekend from Thursday night to Sunday they made 15.
Lauren said: "It's all just from home - in a normal sized oven!
"We've been looking at different options to possibly get more space, it'll happen eventually but nothing's decided yet."

As for the business name, she confided: "My second name was Benson. I'm quite clumsy and years ago I'd dropped something and Richard said 'Betsy Benson, what are you doing?'. It just kinda stuck.
"When we started making cakes it sounded like an old wife's name so it made sense to us!"
Last month the couple were commissioned to help mark the freedom of the city for Dunfermline's peacocks, delivering a beautifully decorated three-tier cake with a bird sitting happily on top.
Their Facebook page shows many more of their stunning creations, including cakes in the shape of a Nike training shoe, a handbag, Highland coo, the solar system, dinosaurs, the Fortnite game, there's one that takes a friendly dig at an Oasis fan and a Still Game design with some choice phrases dotted around it.
Customers get in touch for special occasions and also for no particular reason.
She said: "They'll have themes or ideas, it's mostly birthday cakes and wedding cakes. And cake just because!
"The shoes are difficult. It takes about six hours give or take but a lot of that is waiting.
"Waiting for it to bake, waiting for it to cool down, waiting for it to set.
"We never do the same one twice, every cake we do we learn something new."
Richard, a former roofer, and Lauren share the artistic duties and always aim for perfection.
She admitted: "There are times we've finished a cake and thought, 'No, take it off and start again'.
"I would hate to put something out that I wasn't happy with and expect a customer to be happy with it.
"If I don't like it why would anyone else?"
Lauren went on: "A lot of money is spent on a cake and we're trying to find a happy medium for everyone.
"We're trying to make sure we can still afford to keep going, give our kids a roof over their heads and put food on the table, at the same time as trying to keep our cakes as affordable as possible.
"So far it's going incredibly well and we feel incredibly lucky.
"We never expected it to do anywhere near as well as it has and we're forever grateful for every customer that's ever ordered."
