A SHOPLIFTER who visited Dunfermline and helped himself to £600 worth of booze and cigarettes at a local supermarket has still to be sentenced.
Constantin Danica, 33, got clean away with the haul at the time but is now in custody and appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court by video-link aided by a translator.
Danica, of Millcroft Road, Cumbernauld, previously admitted that on September 10, 2022 at Asda superstore, Halbeath Retail Park, he stole a quantity of alcohol and tobacco products.
The stolen items were valued at £600 and there was no recovery.
Danica initially appeared in Dunfermline more than a year ago.
Sheriff Krista Johnston deferred sentencing until October 9.
