Asda Halbeath has undergone a major upgrade as part of a £50 million investment across 170 UK stores.
The Dunfermline superstore is among 50 larger stores to receive significant improvements, aimed at improving the shopping experience for customers.
These include modern fixtures in the George department, a refurbished optical section, a new foyer, new seasonal aisles, and food-to-go services.
New flooring and lighting have also been installed, alongside re-decorated trolley bays, improved toilet facilities, and exterior landscaping.
Ian Brackenbury, senior director of construction and implementation at Asda, said: "Customer experience is always a priority for us, and we regularly look at how we can enhance stores to meet the needs of our shoppers.
"Through this significant investment, we are bringing new and exciting services to customers while also upgrading the existing components of our established stores.
“This enhancement program reflects our commitment to providing the best possible experience for our customers, as we continue on our journey to grow and invest in the business to ensure long term success”.
The improvements are part of the retailer's wider strategic focus on growing the business.
Asda now operates more than 1,000 UK stores for the first time in its 59-year history, following strategic acquisitions of sites from EG Group, Co-op, and Leon.
