The train line towards Inverkeithing has reopened.
This comes after the line was closed due to a safety inspection of the track between South Gyle and Edinburgh Gateway.
As a result of this, services from Edinburgh towards Inverkeithing were unable to run.

ScotRail posted on X: “CLEARED: Disruption caused by a safety inspection of the track earlier today between South Gyle and Edinburgh Gateway has now ended.
“Services: between Edinburgh and Aberdeen, between Edinburgh and Cowdenbeath, between Edinburgh and Dundee, between Edinburgh and Glenrothes With Thornton via Dunfermline City, between Edinburgh and Leven and between Edinburgh and Perth are no longer affected by this problem.”
