Dunfermline’s Commercial Primary School is set to open as normal tomorrow, after being closed due to a heating problem.
Fife Council confirmed the plan after children were sent home earlier today.
Engineers managed to fix the system, but there are two more schools in West Fife where the situation is not as clear.
St Margaret’s, which sits next door on Woodmill Road, was also shut for the same reason on what was supposed to be the first day back after a long Christmas break.
Efforts are being made to get pupils back in tomorrow, but it’s not known for sure whether that will happen. The authority has said that parents will be contacted with news soon.
Those with children at Aberdour Primary are in the same boat, awaiting a message that will inform them if the building will open.
It’s set to be a freezing day tomorrow, with a yellow weather warning issued for snow and ice across Fife.
