Fife weather warning: Friday's forecast for Dunfermline

The wind, measuring around 9mph in the morning, will drop to 5mph by night.

At 6am, the temperature will be around 2°C, with a 50 per cent likelihood of rain or wintry showers.

This will continue through to 9am when the likelihood increases to 60 per cent.

By noon, the rain and showers probability will increase further to 70 per cent, lasting until 5pm.

As the evening approaches, the chance of rain will further increase to 80 per cent at 6pm and maintain till 8pm.

There will be a slight reduction in the probability of rain to 70 per cent at 9pm, dropping further to 60 per cent by 10pm and 50 per cent by 11pm.

Residents are reminded to follow safety precautions and ensure their cars are properly equipped for the wintry conditions.
