The Met Office has issued Fife with a yellow weather warning for ice.
The warning will be in place from midnight until 10am tomorrow (Wednesday) with "patchy ice likely to form on untreated surfaces by the morning, leading to some disruption."
They caution that the warning brings with it a risk of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces and icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
In general, yellow warnings are issued in anticipation of potential bad weather situations causing disruption to travel and activities.
It comes after a string of cautions were issued at the start of January for snow and ice.
