Saturday snow warning issued for Fife (Image: PA)
A yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued for Saturday night.
It will be in place from 9pm until 10am on Sunday, covering Dunfermline and the wider Fife area.
A statement from the Met Office reads: “Snow, heavy at times, may cause some disruption to travel, especially over high ground during Saturday night and Sunday morning.”
It added that “Some roads and railways are likely to be affected, with longer journey times by road, bus and train services”, and that people should expect “some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths”.
