The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning tomorrow for strong winds, accompanied by heavy rain across Fife.
The warning will last from 5am until 8pm on Thursday, March 12, and could cause delays to road, rail, air, and ferry travel.
High-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges may also be delayed, and there is a risk of short-term power cuts.
Coastal areas may be affected by spray and large waves.
The strong winds are due to an active weather front moving south-eastwards across the UK.
Gusts of 50-55mph are expected across the UK, with some coastal areas seeing 60mph or even 70mph winds.
The winds are forecasted to ease from the north throughout the day.
People are advised to check travel conditions, prepare for potential power cuts, and stay safe near the coast.
