The Met Office has provided the latest forecast for Dunfermline.
The town is heading for a cooler, mostly dry weekend with bright spells on Saturday, although the day is set to hover around 13 degrees Celsius.
The day will kick off with a cloudier start and some early patchy rain further west in the region.
Light winds are expected to prevail all through the day.
On Sunday, early patchy rain is expected to move through before clearing away to leave sunshine and isolated showers into the afternoon.
Conditions will feel fresher than earlier in the week, but most of the day should still offer some dry and brighter intervals once the first band of rain has passed.
The temperature throughout the day is forecast to be around 12C.
